Our Mission

To provide our youth with critical leadership skills that support community and economic development in Laramie County

Our Story

Junior Leadership of Laramie County was originally the class project of the 1999/2000 Leadership Cheyenne class. The class members felt strongly that our community needed a high school leadership program to serve as a catalyst for keeping our youth in Wyoming after graduation by:

  • Creating early buy-in/ownership in our community and all that it has to offer

  • Providing our youth with critical leadership skills that support community and economic development

  • Establishing networking opportunities in our community

Over 19 years later, Junior Leadership of Laramie County continues to flourish with the help of many volunteers and sponsors in our community.
